Nature’s Stories and Songs Come Alive at Camp!

We’re thrilled to bring back this unforgettable camp experience!

Campers and mentors will embark on adventures designed to spark awareness, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. Together, we’ll observe, question, and explore, creating a space where every moment outdoors becomes a story worth sharing.

With nature as our guide and inspiration, we will tap into our creative potential to create a musical play together to share with families on the last day of camp.

Everyone will have a chance to explore their own creative nature and share their gifts. Whether that’s making music, writing stories, acting, making costumes and props, set design, or supporting behind the scenes.

This camp brings a unique blend of curiosity, creativity, and connection that builds a powerful rhythm: soaking in the beauty of nature, opening our senses, and expressing what we’ve learned in ways that feel joyful and fun.

Of course, no summer adventure is complete without time to simply be in the wild—playing games, picking berries, catching frogs, and reveling in the magic of a sun-soaked day. It’s the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and pure summer joy.

Rooted to the Earth: All Girls* Camp

(Ages 10-14)

*This camp is for all marginalized genders including trans girls, girl-identifying individuals, and non-binary or gender non-conforming children who feel comfortable in a space that centers and celebrates the experiences of girls.

All girls* camp (ages 10-14) at Token Creek County Park!  Woods, prairie, and refreshing cold springs are waiting to be explored. This week-long camp is designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and build a deeper connection to nature, self, and community—especially for girls ready for an inspiring outdoor adventure. This is an opportunity for tween and teen girls to connect with nature in the safety of other girls. Our Grandmother Elders and female-identifying mentors offer examples of femininity rooted in nature, creating a safe space to explore femininity without imposing a fixed definition of what it means to be a girl.

Each day will bring new opportunities to explore the summer landscape, guided by the interests of the group. Imagine harvesting plants to make tea, medicine, or sparkling sodas, playing thrilling hiding and sneaking games (perhaps teaming up with Rangers Apprentice Camp!), cooling your feet in the creek, or even diving into creative projects like basket weaving, cordage making, jewelry making, carving, and fire by friction. Every moment is an invitation to learn, play, and connect, with plenty of time for group games and challenges woven into the experience.

For those ready to extend the adventure, join us for an overnight stay at the group campsite! Dropping off Thursday morning and picking up Friday afternoon, campers will share an unforgettable evening of cooking their own meals over the fire, bonding under the stars, and deepening the friendships formed during the week. Female caregivers are welcome to stay overnight for any girl who may need extra support, with tents arranged nearby to create a close-knit, supportive community.

This camp is more than an adventure—it’s an opportunity to develop intuition, sensory awareness, mindfulness, Earth skills (like fire by friction, tracking, and plant ID), and lasting kinship with other girls. Whether we’re playing by the creek, listening to bird language, or sharing stories around the fire, every moment is designed to help campers connect with the Earth, themselves, and each other.

Sliding scale: $450- 600 (without overnight)

Optional overnight: +$75–$150 (can be added later if undecided)

Ranger Apprentice: Secrets of the Land

(Ages 10-17)

Calling all aspiring rangers! Step into the role of a ranger apprentice and embark on a thrilling journey into stealth, skill-building, and uncovering the secrets of the natural world. Inspired by the Ranger's Apprentice books (no need to have read them!), this camp offers an exciting blend of hands-on learning and heart-pounding adventure.

Dive deep into the ways of the ranger as you master camouflage, tracking, campcraft, and awareness skills. Test your abilities with stealth challenges, tool-making projects, and games that bring these skills to life in dynamic and creative ways. Imagine crafting simple to complex tools, sneaking through the woods undetected, or using your awareness to track and interpret the movements of the land.

But being a ranger is not just about action—it’s also about stillness and connection. You’ll find quiet moments to sharpen your senses, tune in to the natural world, and deepen your bond with the land around you.

If you’re ready for a summer adventure that challenges your mind, body, and spirit, join us in the realm of the rangers.
